Bear Stearns upgraded online auctioneer eBay Inc. to outperform from peer perform, saying concerns about competition from the likes of Amazon were overdone, in my view I believe way way overdone.
Rome, Jan. 17 - A few hours after the colourful spectacle on Piazza di Spagna in Rome, the coloured plastic balls thrown by Graziano Cecchini, already famous for colouring the water of the Trevi Fountain red, were sold on eBay. The first ad appeared 14:44h yesterday, just a few hours after the event. Prices started at 50 euros, but the seller promised to send each ball "in an elegant package". After two hours, at 16:11h, the second offer appeared: just one ball, but "coloured red for positive feelings" the advertisement said. But some people left Piazza di Spagna yesterday with the pockets filled with the little balls and offers are already rising.
